Architect and graphic designer born in Milan 44 years ago, Gabriella Simone has been involved for over 15 years in projects for the retail world.

After the conclusion of her university studies, driven by passion and curiosity, she immediately started to experience the world of architecture combined with communication.

Soon after the first project she decided to dedicate herself to the field of commercial design: formats and commercial layouts, concepts, ideas and exhibition modes, shops and food/non-food areas, restyling, temporary stores, for shopping and entertainment centers, factory outlets, retail parks , all places where the business grows and prospers, but especially public social spaces.

Her professional experience covers different activities: from the individual store development to the design of large retail projects in Italy and abroad.

In 2013 she founded Future Concept Retail, a website which represents the link between the traditional architecture know-how and the social world of the digital age, a space where you can listen, discuss, gather information, ideas and solutions for designing the commercial spaces of the future.


‘Travelling’: from the commercial space to the real place - methods and suggestions to improve sales and communication.

The positive feeling transmitted by a shop is an important key to read and understand the behavior of customers.

The renewal of a commercial space represents a fundamental aspect of the sales strategy and remarkably contributes to the development of a new way of living and work with positive implications in the growth of profit.

Architecture and graphics are a winning combination, able to join the meaning of the project to the shape of image and communication.

The technical knowledge is quite relevant, but in the global market is not all: to be competitive today it is very important to carefully chose the right way, finding the optimum balance between the offer (i.e. the customer) and the demand (i.e. the supplier).

This presentation offers some ideas and suggestions that can be helpful to those who would like to improve the architecture of internal and external spaces, from the sign to the installations and furnitures, mixed with new technological perspectives and communication means.
